Festival Fashion LookBook

Festival season has quickly crept up on us and already so many people are planning their trips to various festivals which are happening this summer. I wanted to create a lookbook of key pieces which you can take to any festival, however have themed my looks by the festivals which have inspired them. From flirty frocks to comfort and style, I have tried to pick a range of outfits to suit all of my readers - I hope you like!
Festivals are a chance to show off your style, but I think that you also need to feel comfortable in what you're wearing because the likelihood is that you will spend most of your time standing or dancing or queuing. My favourite footwear is the classic Wellingston boots because you can withstand the mud and the wetness, and to me if my feet are warm and dry thats all that matters. Also, take a couple of sneakers for when you're just chilling by your tent. The weather is also highly unpredictable which is why layering is a pretty good option - you can take a jacket or shirt on or off, not only to protect against wind and rain, but also from the (perhaps) scorching sun. A light denim jacket, or a gingham shirt for this season, is my favourite option.

GLASTONBURY

what i'm wearing: dress* Superdry // gingham shirt Zara // boots Hunter // floral crown Topshop

Possibly the most fashionable festival, show off your best country inspired look at Glastonbury with gingham and traditional wellies. Pair it with a flirty frock and a statement floral crown for extra style credit!

WIRELESS

what i'm wearing: banana crop top* Kuccia // leather look skater skirt New Look (similar here) // boots* Shoe Zone // necklace Zara (similar here// sunglasses* label.m x Jean-Pierre Braganza

Dance the day away in this trendy summer look - Kuccia have the best range of funky styles which will surely help you stand out from the crown. Opt for comfortable chunky heels which will take you from day to night.

BESTIVAL

what i'm wearing: gingham shirt Zara // pom pom detail playsuit* CelebLook // boots* Talolo // sunglasses label.m x Jean-Pierre Branganza // daisy headband Primark (similar here)

This fun and flirty playsuit is the perfect partner for a festival like Bestival - height of summer begs for a printed bikini or swimming costume to be placed underneath the lace top for a pop of unexpected colour.

READING AND LEEDS

what i'm wearing: bootcut jeans Primark (similar here// tassel crop top Primark (similar here// denim jacket Warehouse // boots* Talolo // sunglasses New Look // necklace* Lidl

Keep warm, comfortable and stylish in this seventies inspired outfit complete with fringing, boot cut jeans and double denim. You can easily replace the tassel crop top with a seventies slogan t-shirt!
Which one is your favourite look? Are you going to any festivals this year? Leave your comments below - I love reading them!

  1. Ah Lana you're such a babe. I love them all, (although the Wireless outfit isn't my personal style). I think my favourite has to be Glastonbury but I do love the pom-pom play suit for Bestival too!
You've made me wish I was going to a festival this year. Are you?

  2. So perfect! I love the fact you styled every outfit close to comfort! I always wondered why do so many girls dress up with high pumps or crazy uncomfortable clothes! When I go to a concert my legs hurt all the time and I have to pee frequently, so comfort is a freaking must! :D
My favorite is the first one, sooo chic!
