Rodial Super Fit Tummy Tuck and Size Zero Bodycare Review

Rodial Super Fit range: Size Zero Bodycare* £55 // Tummy Tuck* £65

Rodial has always been a brand I lust over as from what i've tried, their products always deliver. With a higher than average price tag, this isn't an easily affordable brand for everyone but with an effective formula and results that deliver, Rodial items are an investment into yourself.
I was very excited to try their Super Fit range and these two materials have especially caught my eye as they tackle areas which are 'problematic' for me ': Rodial Super Fit Tummy Tuck and Size Zero bodycare.
Now lets get something out of the way before I carry on: I know some people dislike the title 'Size Zero' but I don't think this is Rodial trying to size shame anyone, I honestly think this is the brands tongue in cheek style and it's not meant to offend anyone. I'm very sorry if it does, but please don't take it out on this post or me. I feel very strongly about this size debate, having friends who are a size zero naturally and friends who class themselves as 'bigger girls' , and the kind of size shaming I went through my whole entire life but that is a whole other story - this is simply about whether the products work or not and whether you should be forking out to spend on these. 
I have wanted to tone up a little for ages, because I have gotten a little wobbly (mostly due to food and drink I have been consumer lately) and I have been on detoxes and am also starting running alongside yoga, I thought this would be a fun addition to get that tone I want. When these shiny bottles arrived, I started trialling them straight away and here is what I thought two weeks into testing:

Rodial Super Fit Tummy Tuck: This is a best seller from Rodial and promises to help reduce the area of the abdomen by up to an inch in just two months. The formula helps improve skin tone, with Gemmoslim™ and fast acting wheat protein which improves elasticity and texture for a smoother and firmer looking tummy. Key ingredients include:

Gemmoslim™: Decreases fat storing cells for a smoothing and slimming effect
Tensine: Immediate firming, lifting, smoothing and toning effect
LaraCare: Improves skin hydration by reducing transepidermal water loss thus improving appearance of fine lines and imperfections
Pomegranate Extract: Powerful antioxidant that protects skin cells against free radical damage

You massage the gel onto your abdomen area, I do this morning and evening. The gel feels pleasant, and is not sticky at all which is fab because sometimes gels and creams can make you feel a bit sticky and that's not what you want on a hot summers day! It absorbs quickly and the action of rubbing it into your belly probably helps to get blood bumping and naturally gets rid of some lumps and bumps. After a week of using the product religiously, I started to feel my skin getting tighter which means the product obviously works! And very effectively. I don't know whether it's subconscious but I am feeling a little more confident about running around the house in my pants as I noticed last night. I am going to continue trialling this for the two months advised and see if I lose anything near an inch off my stomach. 

Rodial Super Fit Size Zero Bodycare: This is a daily toning moisturiser with ultra-powerful PRO-SVELTYL® which encourages the reduction of stubborn fatty deposits and water retention which both help to reveal smoother and younger looking skin, and appearance of sleeker body contours. This product is to be applied to areas such as thighs, abdomen and hips. The key ingredient is Pro-Sveltyl® which reduces formation of fat cells and tissue inflammation helping to drain water retention and reduce appearance of cellulite.

The cream is light and has a rose and citrus scent which is lovely! You should apply the moisturiser to areas you want to tone up in the morning and at night - same idea as Tummy Tuck, just massage the product into skin until it absorbs. I have been concentrating on my thighs and bum and have been following my routine religiously for two weeks. I really like this product as a moisturiser, it's not as 'aggressive' as Tummy Tuck in terms of tightening skin but I can now feel my skin getting smoother and tighter after about two weeks. 

I think both of the products perform to their promised standard, keeping them as a part of your daily routine but also actually doing other things to help tone like keeping and eye on how much water you drink, what you eat and also upping exercise (even if it is just walking) will ensure that you are seeing faster results in your plans. I think after I use up these products - which hopefully will be in a while as they are rather big - I will invest in them as items which will bring me into summers and just help me get into the shape that I want.
