what i'm wearing: dress* Superdry // shirt Primark // shoes Topshop // watch Michael Kors
Recently I attended a Superdry press event which has opened my eyes to the store's fashion collections, as well as on trend comfort wear. I have always liked Superdry but it's not somewhere I would usually go in for new dresses or shoes, but rather more like hoodies or joggers, and definitely comfy flip flops.
At their AW15 showcase, I saw a lot of tailoring and party wear which to me was unusual for Superdry so I was actually very excited to go and explore what they had in store. Superdry also kindly gifted me with a £50 voucher to spend in their Regent Street store so whilst I was in London for a blogger event, I popped in to see if there was anything I fancied - and there was a lot!
Of course the store is full of classic Superdry pieces like logo t-shirts, cosy looking joggers and warm hoodies but there were also the pieces which intrigued me at the event which included sequin mini skirt, boho style maxi dresses, and tailored jackets.
I absolutely fell in love with this white dress, there is also a black version which I was so tempted to buy as well! It's made from a really soft cotton material and is so comfortable to wear - plus it has the most gorgeous cut out pattern on the back. I was inspired by one of the mannequins I saw in store for this outfit which is also great for summer weather as you can layer the denim shirt over the dress when it gets cooler in the evenings.
My love for Superdry has been reignited and I'm definitely going to visit the store more often for fashion pieces, as well as sport and comfort wear. What do you think of Superdry - do you shop there for fashion pieces, or comfort and sportswear?
