what i'm wearing: faux leather t-shirt* F&F at Tesco // skinny jeans (DIY rips) Primark // buckle boots* Shoe Zone // sunglasses Primark // watch Michael Kors
When I think about shoes from Shoe Zone, I always used to think of what the boys at school used to wear - clunky, cheap shoes. But when I was asked to review a pair of Shoe Zone shoes of my choice, I had a lot of fun picking out the shoes and also changing my opinion of the company.
I chose an ankle boot style with buckle detail and a block heel - comfortable and stylish, a perfect every day boot. When the box arrived, I actually realised that they use the same distributor company as several of the leading online bargain fashion retailers, so immediately I was pleasantly surprised. The shoes looked even better in real life than on the website, I could tell that they were made to be sturdy and I wouldn't have quality issues with the shoes. Overall, I was impressed! Thumbs up Shoe Zone for amplifying your trend game and changing perceptions of the store - I no longer look at the brand and think "bread loaf shoes", but more bargain fashion find.
I styled my boots with a faux leather t-shirt and some ripped jeans, which I customised myself as I the day I bought them I was kind of thinking I don't want to spend £40 on jeans with rips from Topshop, so I'll buy them for £10 from Primark and cut the rips myself - saving £30! Keep accessories to a couple statement pieces like round sunglasses and a chunky watch - you've now got the perfect everyday outfit to take you through Spring 2015!
