Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day and Regenerating Night face creams

I recently ran out of my moisturiser and had to rush out to buy a new face cream as I know how important good moisture is as a part of your daily skincare routine. I usually tend to spend quite a bit on moisturisers as I think your skin is, or should be, an investment - taking care of it early in your life will save you all those Botox and facelifts in the future. However, as my local Boots just had to do the job this time as I couldn't get to a department store and waiting for an online deliver was not an option, I decided to go for something new from the highstreet.
Years ago I used to only use the Johnson's Daily Essentials Hydrating 24hr Day Cream which cost me £3.99 and made my skin look glowing, clear and nourished, but over time it just stopped working for my skin. By that time I was out of uni and working full time so I could afford to spend more money on my skincare, but I was now interested to see how highstreet moisturising face creams would measure up against the likes of creams which cost around £30.

I picked up these Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream and Regenerating Night Cream as they were on offer in Boots and also I liked the '95% of natural origin' promise on the box. I like skincare to consist of more natural ingredients as they tend to preserve skin better than harsh chemicals, plus it always feels that you're just adding on top of the daily pollution your skin faces. These face creams contain Argan Oil and Aloe Vera, both of which are fantastic for your skin. Both of the face creams are also suitable for sensitive skin.

I have been using the moisturisers for about a week and I'm very impressed with them. When I first posted about the creams on Instagram, a few of you mentioned that you have been using these creams and give them a thumbs up, so I was really excited to see how they react with my skin. For me, an ideal day cream is easily absorbed, non greasy and non shiny - but keeps your skin nourished through the day; an ideal night cream is easily absorbed but heavier than the day cream as nighttime is ideal for getting your skin nurtured with healthy oils.

I really like the whipped texture of the Nivea Pure & Natural face creams - it's easily absorbed into the skin and doesn't leave a shine, however skin feels plump and nourished. I have noticed that it has made me skin brighter since I've been using it which is an achievement as usually when I'm stressed and tired my skin looks dull and grey. I also love how nourished my skin feels - not greasy, but I know it's well moisturised.
I'm really impressed by these highstreet moisturisers - the big tubs will last me for ages as you really only need a tiny amount to spread over your face, and I also can't wait to see what my skin will look like after a month of using these. I give the Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream and Regenerating Night Cream a 10/10!

  1. NIVEA is the best cream I have ever used. But in autumn and winters my skin become so dry. So I started using dermology anti aging cream and believe me its very good.
