Spring 2015 LookBook: Lidl 'See You In Venice'

I have to say I was somewhat surprised when I read that Lidl will be lunching their fab new fashion collection 'See You in Venice', I love Lidl and shop there weekly for groceries but it's not usually a place I have considered for fashion. However, after seeing some press images of what the collection looks like I was so intrigued to see the pieces in real life and to style them. I received samples from the lovely team at Lidl and am now sharing them with you - I hope you're just as impressed with our good old Lidl as I am! 

My first look is this striped shift dress which is made from a really soft cotton material paired with some stand out red accessories. I'm absolutely in love with these flats which are made from a mix of faux suede and faux leather - they have been a hit with everyone who saw me in them! This is the perfect look for a summers day stroll on the marina - don't forget the chilled glass of Sauvignon!

For an evening chic look, I took this simple little black dress from the Lidl "See You in Venice" collection and paired it with their statement necklace - by the way I forgot to mention to you that the prices for most of these items are like £5, such a bargain! Yep, even the shoes! This dress drapes around the body nicely and has a flattering shape, so perfect for most figures but especially for shapes heavier on the top half. 

I love the statement necklace too - you can dress it up for the evening, as well as toning it down with jeans and a baggy t-shirt for a daytime look.

I am absolutely obsessed with striped tops at the moment - I think they look so chic with skinny jeans and flats! I love these nude flats from the Lidl 'See You in Venice' collection as they go with everything and are super comfy! I actually spent a whole day running around from city to city in these shoes and didn't come out with any blisters! I'm not a huge fan of jeggings but these are so comfortable and look just like skinny jeans that I can see myself wearing them all the time. 

A look like this can easily take you day to night - swap the flats for a pair of heels and chuck on a blazer - et voila!

My last look is a lazy Sunday outfit with a cute red striped red top which I love, and some light blue jeggings. I'm also a huge fan of the shoes as flats are a key trend for SS15, Lidl's 'See You in Venice' collection has managed to hit the right spot - these flats can be worn with a casual outfit as well as a smart work attire, but I prefer them cas. I rolled up the leggings but you can have them full length if you'd like - I just thought this was quite a playful look! 

Overall I'm really impressed with the 'See You in Venice' collection by Lidl as they have really upped their game and entered the new world of supermarket fashion, which I'm sure we have all see a rise of. With fab pieces at bargain prices, I will be keeping my eye on upcoming collections from the supermarket - I'm definitely game for more #LidlSurprises!
