what i'm wearing: Linea Weekend at House of Fraser shirt* // Topshop Joni jeans // boohoo.com over the knee boots (last year) // vintage felt hat // Zara bag

Seventies is a key trend for 2015 and one of my personal favourites. I always try to find cool pieces to style for everyday seventies looks, and this shirt from Linea Weekend at House of Fraser is just perfect. The seventies were all about funky and loud prints and button up shirts, but I replaced the expected flares with a pair of skinny jeans and thigh high boots to bring the look up to date. And oversized bag in the same colour as my oversized vintage hat brings the look together! All I'm missing is a pair of huge round eyed sunglasses - but when I styled this outfit, there was no sun in sight so I kind of forgot all about them!

I really like the light and flowing fabric of this shirt - I also think this would be a great summer piece with rolled up skinnies and sandals with some buttons from the top of the shirt undone.
