from left to right: Diorskin Nude BB Cream £30 // Diorskin Nude Skin Glowing Makeup £32 // Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Cream £30
A few months ago I finally tested out the Diorskin Nude BB cream and foundation and I absolutely fell in love with the products, so when my mum asked me what I wanted for Christmas I didn't even hesitate but asked for the products I have lusting over. She also picked me up the Dior Hydra Life BB eye cream which was a lovely surprise! I really love the Nude collection and although I wasn't sure about the coverage, after I gave it a couple of goes and really tested it out I knew there was no going back.
The Diorskin Nude BB Cream has an incredibly smooth texture which makes it really easy to apply and leaves your skin feeling moisturised for the whole day. The coverage is just right for someone like me: I have blemished skin but I'm trying to not use heavy foundations and give my skin a break and this BB cream covers up any scars or spots, gives an appearance of an even skin tone and gives you a slight glow without being overpowering. This BB cream moisturises the skin but doesn't get greasy throughout the day which is a huge bonus as I really can't be dealing with grease wipes and all that jazz. I also really like how you don't have to squeeze the BB out, there is a really handy dispenser which makes the extraction process easy and mess free. I love this BB cream, it's definitely taken the soon of my favourite BB.
The Diorskin Nude Skin Glowing Makeup is a heavier coverage foundation which is still very light and moisturising on the skin. I use this foundation on days when I need my skin to look flawless and also on nights out as it stays on for a long time. I dab a little bit of powder on top of this foundation to keep it matt, but overall I don't find it greasy. I use the shade 001 as I'm quite pale, but in the summer when you're tanned, or if you're an all year round tanner, I would go for the 002. One of my favourite things about this foundation is that you can build up coverage which makes it very versatile.
The Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Cream was a new thing for me: I read reviews on eye BB creams before but I haven't used one and I rely so much on my heavy duty under eye concealer that it's difficult for me to let go of it! This is actually a lot thicker than what I expected which is great, and it captures the light which makes your eyes appear brighter. I really enjoy using this eye BB cream, I think there is a space for them on the market as it is slightly different from the concealers I have been using - it combines a thick concealer with an illuminating product so there's less for you to put on.
Overall, I'm really loving the Dior makeup range and I would give it top marks. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for and I think when it comes to your skin you can spend a little more if it means you're moisturised, protected and your pores are not clogged up.
