Catwalk by TIGI Root Boost Spray* £8.65 from Hairtrade

I was very grateful to have the opportunity to work with Hairtrade and etail PR (an amazing blogger network, check them out if you haven’t already!) to review this Catwalk by TIGI Root Boost Spray, which promises to give that extra “va va voom” to your locks. My hair can be quite dull and lifeless sometimes, so I’m always on the lookout for volumising products and I know a lot of salons use TIGI so I was very excited to give this product a go at home.

The idea is to spray the product at the roots of towel dried hair and then blow dry to give your hair the volume boost it needs. I am not a pro at blow drying my hair at home so what I do is flip my hair upside down and blow dry to increase volume – if you give me one of those round brushes, I think it will just get stuck in my hair which is what happened before, and it wasn’t pretty. After your hair is dry, style it as usual – I went for a straight style with a side parting.

I wouldn’t say this product has changed my life, but it has definitely given some life into my hair and given it the extra volume it needed. My hair smelt and felt good after using this product and I wasn’t the only one to notice as I received some very lovely comments on my hair.
