The Kettle Shed: Kick-In Coco Tea Review
As a tea drinker (can't handle coffee, it makes me feel all weird and sick), I was very excited to have the opportunity to try and review this super special blend from The Kettle Shed - a startup business selling quirky and traditional blends of tea. The Kettle Shed was founded by The Tea Lady: Zoe Nixon who's background is actually in finance, but she followed her dream of creating her own company. She started by creating blends and selling them loose at food and drink markets across west London.
The Kettle Shed has many flavours and it was so hard to pick one to try, but I decided to go with this unusual chilli and chocolate blend, Kick-In Coco*.
The Kick-In Coco tea is an indulgent and fiery blend which promises to satisfy your chocolate cravings and get you to a kicking start of the day. Ingredients consist of: Sri Lankan black tea, liquorice, cocoa shells, chilli, sunflower and calendula petals and flavouring. You drink the tea with milk and sugar - I tested it out both ways, with and without milk because I wanted to get the 'pure' flavour of the tea and I have to say it's definitely good to drink with milk! It tastes chocolatey but not too sweet, and gives you a spicy kick in the back of the throat.
This is my perfect tea to take along on a chilli dog walk in the countryside, or whenever I need a pick me up!
The Kettle Shed don't only provide us with that warm feeling everyone gets from drinking tea, but also from every tea infuser pack purchased a percentage goes to supporting shelters for the homeless across the UK. I think this is a wonderful little company and I will be purchasing varieties of tea to try!
What is your favourite flavour of tea? Do you prefer milky or herbal?
*Thank you to The Kettle Shed for gifting me the Kick-In Coco tea blend!

Oooo this sounds divine! I'm always on the look out for fancy teas and I'm in love with the chocolate orange Charbrew at the minute. I love the charity angle of theses. I'll definitely have to get some of these for the office!

Chocolate orange sounds amazing! I need to try that :) It is such a good feeling when you spend money on something and know that an amount of it goes to a good cause.
