Navajo "Indian Summer"

Maxi dress Tee and Cake by Topshop, fringed earrings and belt Topshop

I have recently calmed my obsession with maxi dresses, not everything is down to the floor now, but I still love 'em! This dress fits in perfectly with the fringed Navajo trend which lived on the pages of fashion magazines this summer. I decided to add my OTT earrings with this dress and leave the other accessories plain, although now I think I should have added a chunky gold ring and a set of mix-matched bangles. 

This outfit (including the bare feet because unless I have to wear shoes I opt to be like Mowgli and go free) is my weekend BBQ/garden party style. In the evening I add on a denim jacket to keep warm and think about wearing moccasins, however that doesn't happen often. :)
