Dressing appropriate for wok and keeping trendy can sometimes be hard, especially as a lot of us (me included) sometimes just give up and not bother unless there is a client meeting or visit that we're preparing for. Well I want to challenge this and show you that you can dress trendy and be professional.

Monochrome is a hot trend and it suits everyone: the classic black and white combination will never let you down which is why it is absolutely one of my go to trends. Monochrome can also easily be serious, which is why black and white is a perfect combination for meetings and days in the office.
I took a black stretch cotton pencil skirt and paired it with a crop t-shirt - now I have exaggerated the crop in these blog photos, but when I wear this to the office I will only show the tiniest bit of skin (as appropriate where you work I guess!). Then, to give this outfit formality I added a white duster jacket which is perfect for spring as it's right on trend - and it's from Primark which gets tops marks from me!
I accessorised this outfit with a statement necklace to inject a little bit of colour, added some tough looking boots - but you can opt for stilettos for a more formal look, and I have chosen a clutch bag to show you how easy this outfit transforms from day to night but for a day at the office I will opt for my bowler bag.

  1. This is such a lovely outfit. Working for a law firm I am not sure a crop top would go down too well though!! I love the necklace x
