I have been keeping my eye on New Look for a little while now as they have been coming out with some amazing womens fashion pieces, but when I saw this seventies inspired California Dreaming t-shirt, I just had to have it. I usually stay away from slogan tops but this just reminded me of something I would find in a thrift store and see on photos from California beach in the 70s. It just has that cool, laid back style and when it's warmer I'm going to swap the flared jeans for a pair of denim hot pants and Vans.
I also want to draw your attention to my gorgeous floral head crown - I haven't really jumped on the bandwagon when headbands were all the rage, but it looks like they are coming back with a bang and I am on it! I saw this beauty in Topshop and just had to have it - it's a poppy style head crown, which I haven't seen much before so it grabbed me straight away.
I love this outfit styled in the seventies trend which is a massive hit for SS15 - it's fun, comfortable and trendy! Bring on the sunshine and the beach, I already have that California dreaming feeling!

I'm loving the 70s look at the moment, will definitely be trying to channel it over the summer, and when I head to Bestival later in the year to go all out for the 'Summer of Love' theme! This is such a good look on you, I totally agree with how good New Look have been doing recently too!
