Kadria Balancing Face Oil with chia and blackseed*, £36.00
Kadria skincare is a London based natural skincare range which was developed by a dynamic due of an aromatherapist and a massage therapist. I was kindly offered to review their natural Balancing Face Oil made with chia, blackseed, blackcurrant and tamanu oils which I got really excited about as I'm really into face oils at the moment. I use them as an intensive overnight treatment for my skin and so far I've tried some fantastic natural and organic face oils. Lately I've had some problems with my skin and spots, and Kadria Balancing Face Oil targets hormonal skin changes - it is also tested and proven to be safe to use for women who are pregnant and experiencing troubles with their skin.
The Kadria Balancing Face Oil is a blend of essential oils and Omega 3 + 6 which combined helps to protect the skin, as well as nourish and restore uneven skin. The oil is scented with gorgeous Rose Geranium and Frankincense which helps your mind relax as well as the calm your skin.
Blackseed oil has high levels of amino acids which aid cellular regeneration, nigellone which has anti-inflammatory effects and help combat premature ageing, and essential fatty acids which stimulate the skins natural protective and healing process. Chia seed oil is high in omega 3 and helps calm inflammation, keep skin smooth and combats signs of ageing - as well as being easily absorbed into the skin. Blackcurrant seed oil is high in omega 3 + 6, GLA and phenolic acids which are all known for their anti-oxidant, nourishing and regenerative qualities. It is also known to help with conditions such as acne as it has anti-inflammatory properties. Tamanu (which is like a small green berry) oil has the capacity to help your skin form new tissues which helps with healing and makes your skin look healthy and fresh.
It comes in a really easy to use bottle with a pump so you can squeeze out a couple of drops and apply to your skin after cleansing. You can also use it before applying your usual moisturiser so this works day or night. I found the oil to be very light, silky and easily absorbed into the skin - top marks as sometimes I find facial oils can be really greasy (you can see on the picture how light and runny the oils is).
I really enjoyed using this oil as my skin feels really nice and soft, about an hour after I apply it I can already feel the difference. It has helped my spots and I hope using it over time it will also help me with my unbalanced skin tone too. Kadria Balancing Face Oil is pretty pricey at £36 per bottle, however it lasts ads because you only need a tiny bit and for me it does make a difference to my skin so it's definitely worth investing into. I also really like all the ingredients in the oil, and the fact that it is natural and also safe to use when you're pregnant means that you can use this oil consistently through your life.
