I recently did a Vine video post (you can
follow my by searching for FashionFake) featuring this scrumptious body butter,
and after getting obsessed with the scent I just talked about it constantly
over social media and I got a really good response from you guys saying that
you loved it and several of you actually bought the body butter too. So I
thought that it might be worth doing an actual review of this summer beauty and
share it with the masses.
There’s one thing I’m going to say before
starting and that is I love The Body Shop, but I love their sales more. When
this shop says there’s a sale on – there’s a sale on. I have acquired 7 body
butters in one go (don’t ask why!) and it cost me only like £30 but I’m set for
body butters for the whole year! So keep an eye out as there’s plenty more Body
Shop body butters reviews coming up in all sorts of flavours.
This body butter caught my attention purely
because of the scent – it smells like a tropical, zesty summer in a pot. The
zingy grapefruit is quite prominent but not overpowering so if you like citrus
smells then this is a winner for you. I also love the whipped texture of the
body butter – it’s really soft but not lumpy, ie it doesn’t come out in a big
chunk when you scoop it out. All the butters are so easy to use, just smooth
into skin and they dry within seconds leaving your body moisturised, nourished
and beautifully scented.
I’m really happy that so many of you guys loved
this product because for me it is just a cult summer body butter, even on rainy
days I just apply it and close my eyes, just pretend I’m somewhere hot and
tropical…
