Come Autumn, we all get super excited about knitwear - stores showcase every kind of sweater and jumper you could possibly want! But with luxurious knitwear usually comes a price tag which will qualify as an investment so how do you keep warm and stylish on a budget?
Enter Primark. Gone are the days when I used to consider this bargain high street store a place for cheap socks and t-shirts, but it is now the store I go to first when I'm after a fashion, or classic, staple at an affordable price.
When it comes to knitwear, I tend to buy classic staples which I can wear year after year. On occasion, I may pick up a more fashion-oriented piece but as a rule I tend to stick to staples. Knitwear has to be comfortable - there's nothing better than a soft, warm jumper to wear on a miserable rainy day. Which is what I love about this jumper - it's super soft and warm, it is a classic piece which won't date anytime soon, and it's £10. I know right! So many of you have commented on my jumper that I just had to feature it and tell you where I'm sourcing all my sweaters these days - it's Primark! Most pieces are priced at around the £10, but look like they could be from a high end brand.
I accessorise my sweaters with classic accessories like a statement watch and bag (my favourites are these Michael Kors watch and a classic quilted Chanel bag!) and also layering which is perfect for midseason weather.
