Spring 2015 LookBook: Retro T-shirt Edit

When I saw this printed contrast t-shirt in New Look a couple of weeks ago I just had to have it in my staple seventies inspired wardrobe. To me, it screams California cool with sunshine and skateboards along the beach and the possibilities of styling this piece seem endless - I picked out my current favourites for this blog post.

A line skirts are huge this season so pick up a couple of varieties and wear with a contrast t-shirt - the beauty of having a monochrome top is that it goes with any colour or print so you can mix and match skirts/shorts. Add accessories to support your boho style - I love floppy hats and chunky boots. I bought this hat from a vintage shop several years ago and I'm so excited that I can finally wear it in style!

Swap a floppy felt hat for a more structure felt fedora and add flared jeans for a mega cool laid back 70s outfit - these flared jeans were a bargain £7 from the Zara sale but there are plenty of others similar. Primark also have £10 bootcut jeans which look great with this outfit but they're very low cut so for me it's not the most comfortable style as I prefer a little bit of a higher waist on bottoms. Stack rings for a little bling!
