what i'm wearing: t-shirt New Look // A line pattern skirt Zara // boots* Shoe Zone // daisy headband Primark

Festival season is very quickly creeping up on us and it's time to get your essential item sorted (if you haven't already). Of course a lot of it depends on what kind of festival you are going to - music influences fashion and style heavily, if I'm going to an event with certain genre of music I'll try and shop whilst listening to it and get inspiration from songs.
I think this outfit is pretty versatile in terms of what festival you're going to but I envisage this combo being worn to something like Wireless or Glastonbury - I love the daisy chain which adds a cute hippie-esque vibe to the outfit, and compliments the nod to 70s.

A line skirts are huge this summer and I have stoked up - this is my printed version which I bought in the Zara sale for a bargain £7! I love the colours and pattern of this skirt, it goes perfectly with summer festival style.
I added comfy chunky boots for style and comfort - the last thing you want is blistered feet when you're spending most of the day on your feet dancing! I love these boots from Shoe Zone - they're mega comfortable and look a lot more expensive that they really are - £24.99, so even if they do get damaged during a dancing sesh, it's not going to be too painful to replace them.
