Spring 2015 LookBook: Retro Summer

Lots of you have been commenting on my Instagram about this skirt: denim A line perfection from Primark, as a bargain £10!! I saw in in store this week and grabbed it without any second thoughts - there were so many outfits floating around in my head. There have been way too many A line button down skirt released from stores like ASOS, Missguided, boohoo and Topshop - but the beauty of this piece is the ridiculously low price tag. For a tenner, it's almost a crime not to buy this skirt if you're a seventies/fashion fanatic.

I love a simple yet flirty outfit, which is why I love the way this A line skirt looks with a retro style T-shirt. Tuck the top in as the high waisted skirt is very flattering, and it will show off the button detail of the skirt. I paired the skirt with a pair of chunky heeled lace up boots for a flirty twist, but you can also team this look with some Converse All Star for comfy laid back style.
I also decided half way through taking blog photos that I wanted to add a vintage style felt hat and I think it worked! I loved that little bit of extra retro glam it added to the outfit - and the bonus of keeping sunny rays out of my eyes!
