VO5 Look 3: Classic Sleek Waves

Tools for the voluminous up-do: VO5 Gloss Me Smoothly Shampoo* £3.79// VO5 Gloss Me Smoothly Conditioner* £3.79// VO5 Smoothly Does It High Definition Curl Mousse* £3.69// VO5 Smoothly Does It Tame and Shine Spray* £3.69// hair brush// shower comb// sectioning grips (grab some from Boots)// curling styler (mine is Enrapture Encode Totem Styler)

This is the final look in this weekends Hair How-To with VO5 and it's my favourite hairstyle, I wear it to work, casually and when I'm out. It's such a sleek look that will make you look polished and stylish at any occasion! It's so easy to do and the style holds for two days so all you need to do the next morning is brush your hair and you're ready to go. Here's how I achieve this quick and stylish look:

1. Start by washing your hair with VO5 Gloss Me Smoothly shampoo and conditioner. I usually leave the conditioner in for a minute while I wash my face, this gives the conditioner enough time to soak in and work its magic.

2. Carefully brush though towel dried, and part your hair. I prefer a middle parting for this look!

3. Shake up the VO5 Curl Mousse, this product will help your locks stay wavy and protect it from the heat of the blow dryer.

4. Squeeze out the shaken mousse, depending on your hair, I squeeze half a handful and I have long, thick hair.

5. Spread the mousse over your hair, avoiding the roots.

6. Blow dry the hair, make sure your hair is all dry and soft. Use a round brush to help along and add more volume.

7. Use the VO5 Tame and Shine spray to lock flyaway hair in place, add shine and protect from the heat of the curler.

8. Spray hair all over, avoiding the roots.

9. Clip sections of hair so it's easy for you to start curling from the bottom. If you are using the Encode styler, I used 3.3.3 for this look.

10. Curl your hair in 1.5" strands and leave to set.

11. Once hair has cooled, brush through with a shower comb and keep brushing until hair is bouncy and the individual curls have brushed together.

12. Et voila! Finish with a spritz of hairspray and you're ready!

I hope you guys have enjoyed these simple and quick how-to's :) I'd love your feedback on these series of posts, and the looks of course!
