I have really bad dark circles around my eyes and I hate it, I always always always have to wear concealer. I think dark circles and eye bags really age you, and you look tired, worn out and that glow just disappears from your face. As you can tell, I really hate dark circles and under eye bags.
I needed a new concealer so I thought I'd give this L'Oreal one a go. I previously used the Lumi Magique primer (review of which you can read here) and I really liked it so I decided to try the concealer pen too. The pen boasts to eliminate dark circles under your eyes to help brighten the face and bring out your eyes but is multi-functional too: it can be used to highlight the cheekbones brow bones and your cupids bow.
When I first used the pen, I really liked the shade of the concealer but the consistency was very thin and I'm used to thicker concealers. So that was one thing that slightly put me off. However, the concealer sits naturally on the skin, it brightens your eyes and can be used successfully for all of the above mentioned purposes so it was a successful buy. It's also really easy to apply and doesn't need a lot of blending so it's a great item to carry around with you for a midday or evening boost. Although I still would have preferred something slightly thicker to really cover up...
