Denim shirt Primark, leather look skirt New Look, scarf Primark, necklace Republic, Chelsea boots ASOS.
If you are a reader of my blog, you will already know that this skirt has become a staple item in my wardrobe this season. If you are a new visitor, you will soon find out how much I love this skirt. It gives any outfit a special something and can be worn casually and for an evening out. I remember seeing a photo in Vogue several years ago and the model wore a real leather skater skirt with a tucked in denim shirt and I fell in love with the outfit. I thought the two styles really complimented each other. What do you think?
With Halloween gone and our minds sufficiently scarred from all the horror films watched over the last few days, I would like to share a little story. Since we moved into our new house in January, I've been randomly tripped up the stairs, touched by un-existing beings and my dog is commonly mesmerized by the landing and stairs at which he sits and stares as if something exciting is happening. Ok, we can live with that and to be honest when you're home alone and bored all sorts of weird feelings and thoughts creep into your head to make the night more entertaining. Then, my (expensive) stuff starts to go missing. First my Monu Night Cream from the bathroom randomly makes a run for it never to be seen again and then my Dior lipstick vanishes into thin air leaving me with only it's empty space in the makeup drawer. I just put it down to either the dog burying it in the garden (even though he has no interest my stuff) or... well, something must have happened! Until I get home last night and find scratches covering quite a large amount of my dressing room wall, right under my photos, and my shoes scattered across the entire room. Creepy right?!
That skirt is amazing, looks wayyyy more expensive than new look! :)xxx

Oh my goooood, I would be SO freaked out if that happened to me! I'd have to move or something haha! I don't blame you telling yourself it's the dog! I love your scarf, I've been looking everywhere for one like that at the moment!

Oh my God, spooky! haha I'm sure it was the dog though (at least I would try to hold on to that story, as I'm terrified of ghosts!). Great outfit, I can see why you love this skirt so much, it's gorgeous! xx

I love this skirt! Oooh what a spooky story, my dog does the same thing and sits staring at the landing like he's watching something and then starts barking, it can be a little creepy as they do say that dog's have a sixth sense for this type of thing :) xx

ReplyDeletecute!
ReplyDeleteI really don't believe in ghosts. The whole idea of a dead guy/gal floating around and messing up a house, because they're just evil, just doesn't ring a bell. It would be cool, though, if there were actually ghosts, that way we could know for sure, that when people die, they don't turn into just dust. -_-
ReplyDeleteOh, and the skirt is lovely. I understand your love for it, because I have a leather beauty of my own, and I just wear the hell out of it :D
Gorgeous outfit!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel! I'm an only child living in a creepy 3 story house & when odd things happen (like when my dog starts growling & barking at the corner of the room for no reason) I do get a bit creeped out & my imagination runs wild haha! Xx
