I was very excited to find out FashionFake was one of the blogs to be picked to try out the new Keratin Sleek range by Clynol. Keratin Sleek promises to take wild and unruly hair, turning it into "sleek, glossy and flawless hair". This treatment is available for all hair types and promises to keep your hair smooth and straight for up to 48 hours. The unique Keratin-Polymer-Complex coats your hair in a protective protein layer and strengthens every strand of hair, boosts elasticity and injects shine from roots to the tips. 

As a sufferer of unruly hair, I am used to spending hours trying to smooth out my hair and keep it staying smooth as any moisture of wind will cause it to go wavy and frizz again. I also have the worst split ends due to my undying stubbornness which prevents me going to any hairdressers as once a very famous and reputable salon completely messed up my beautiful long locks and I ended up wearing hair extensions for two years. Nice. So, I am on the hunt for a hair miracle. Or at least I was. I was not familiar with Clynol before I tried the new Keratin Sleek range but my, I am going to invest in this product. It's a real shame you cannot physically touch my hair through the pictures, it's super soft, all I did last night was play with it because I haven't felt my hair this smooth in a long time! 

I started off by shampooing my hair, the shampoo smelt really nice - like a good hairdressers salon! It lathered really quickly, but it took me some time to wash all of it off as I felt like there was almost a residue on my hair. I then proceeded onto the treatment which is equivalent to a conditioner or a hair mask - depends which way you use it. You can leave it on for a minute or 5-10 minutes, I did 5 and then rinsed it off. I then tied my hair in a towel turban, leave for some of the water to absorb into the towel and then I decided to style it. Using the blow-dry balm and applying it onto towel dried hair, I quickly whizzed the hair drier around (one thing I love to do to give hair extra volume is blow dry with my head upside down - quick and easy volume!) and I was done. The last step was to apply the oil potion all over my hair but avoiding the roots and voila! You can see the results yourself.
